Organizations recognize that they have to get better at collaborating. They inspire to create a more “collaborative culture” and seek to leverage the collective knowledge that improved collaboration will lead to improved effectiveness, increased innovation and boosted productivity.
Since Collaboration is so important, now is the time to appoint a CCO – Chief Collaboration Officer. Surveys have shown that, almost unanimously, everyone agrees that Collaboration is critical, yet over 70% feel that either no one owns it or they do not know who has ownership. Because collaboration is so important, shouldn’t there be “ownership?”
We have seen Chief Knowledge Officers, why not a Chief Collaboration Officer?
